// My Story

I’m a software engineer originally from Charleston, South Carolina. I’ve been coding intermittently since university, but I took the full dive through the software engineering program at Chegg Skills(formally Thinkful). Currently open to positions in full-stack development, software engineering and front-end web development.
I also enjoy board and video games, along with good exercise from weight training and bouldering. I lived in South Korea for a number of years, so I’ve become conversationally decent with Korean and hope to one day find a job that will allow me to travel back and forth. I keep a learning mindset in all that I do, so I’m working to pick up new coding languages and frameworks as I push towards for my first opportunity in the software engineering industry.

// Challenge

I do my best work when being challenged by a complex task. There’s a thrill in building out a solution through research and collaboration, testing out that solution, and then finding ways to modify and improve the results. Software engineering gives me that thrill regularly and it’s given me that much more drive to succeed.
